I am a competitive ultrarunner who has been working with Hannah for the better part of four months. I came to her with a particular challenge: most of my training is done on the trails and roads, so I needed her to help me supplement the work I was doing outside. Specifically, I wanted to injury-proof my legs, develop solid stability and functional strength to handle the mountains in which I race, and I needed all of this done without affecting my ability to run consistently. Hannah was on board from the moment we first spoke. She enthusiastically tailored our macro plan to ebb and flow with my race schedule and introduced me to highly functional, incredibly creative circuits that compliment my priorities as a competitive runner. She is consistently clear in communicating both the goal of every session and the intention of each lift/movement therein. As an endurance athlete herself, Hannah is more than understanding when I have to reduce the intensity of a session in the gym to preserve some strength and freshness for my run, but also knows when and how to appropriately push me -- which includes coming up with remarkably novel but effective exercises. She is genuinely and contagiously enthusiastic about her work. I'd recommend Hannah to any athlete, but in particular to one who needs to use the gym tactically and in concert with other aspects of their athletic life.

When I first came to Hannah in Feb 2019, I was nearing my heaviest weight. I had never been to the weight section of the gym, and I couldn't run for a block nonstop. Hannah's programming gave me the skills and confidence needed to change my life for good. Because of her structured and easy to follow training, I am down 50 lbs, I am no long intimidated by weights (and even enjoy using them), and regularly run for fun. Hannah checks in regularly and always makes herself available for questions, modifications, and explanations of new movements.

I wanted a coach to guide me through some of the more technical and scientific aspects of training and I needed accountability. Hannah gave me that and much more. I knew that she would be there for questions about gear, recovery, fuel, and everything in between. I consider myself knowledgeable, fit and athletic – but I also recognize that there is so much I don’t know because I am not an expert. Hannah bridged those gaps and helped me preform at my peak.
Hannah was amazing to work with. There is so much that goes into Triathlon training from physical demands, energy systems, muscles, timing and nutrition and she is fully knowledgeable in all of it. I came to Hannah with a specific goal to do my first Half Ironman. Coming off of a functional fitness program that was fairly intense, I was ready to switch gears to endurance training. Hannah took the time to teach me what the training process would look like, geared me up for multiple races, and encouraged me along the way. As someone with very little racing and endurance experience, I improved my FTP on the bike, got more efficient in the pool, and was able to run longer and further without any pain. I highly recommend Hannah to anyone in any stage of their fitness journey, regardless of your goal. I met Hannah a few years ago when she approached me for some body work at my job. We managed to somehow exchange contact info, and I think the first time we had a deep conversation was the second or third time we met. The way she talked about life, her goals, her motivation, and overall outlook on the world made me step back and examine what it is I really wanted to get out of living. I started to take on activities that I never thought I'd ever enjoy or even think about doing like: reading, meditation, listening to podcasts, and yes she even got me to journal. When we talk, there is a sense of calmness she gives me, like I could tell her anything and everything without judgement, shame, or disapproval. Now I could type on forever about the amazing talks and days that we have experienced together that have impacted my life greatly, but I'll leave that as an exciting surprise for you to experience for yourself. This amazing woman has brought out a side of me that I never knew existed nor had I really ever seen before. It can be rare to find someone in our lifetime who can get us to think on levels beyond we can imagine. I am truly blessed to call her one of my dearest friends.
